On 25th June, a team of Mumbai Central GRP started search operation in the railway station and goods loading areas. This search reveled huge cash transfer from Mumbai to Gujrat illigally.
GRP recovered Crores of rupees in cash, meant to send by local courier companies or Angadiyas. It is a trend in Mumbai to send black money by the hands of Hawala Opretors or Angadidiyas.
In this contraband police also recoverd huge quantity of smart phones. Officials says that they trying to get the source of these phones. If found that it is smuggled goods, they will ask customs and DRI to investigate further.
