There are 1122 cases pending with CBI for investigation as on 31.05.2014. Out of 1122 cases, 11 cases are pending with CBI for investigation for more than three years.
CBI carries out investigation as per procedure under The Code of Criminal Procedure 1973 (CrPC), Crime Manual of CBI and guidelines issued by the Central Vigilance Commission for investigation of Prevention of Corruption Act 1988 (PC Act) cases.
