India's most wanted underworld don Dawood Ibrahim's elder sister Haseena Parkar passed away.
Sources of her family confirm on Sunday that cause of her death is a massive cardiac arrest in Mumbai.
Doctors of the hospital informed that 56-year-old Haseena suffered severe chest pain and breathed her last on Sunday afternoon at the Habib hospital in South Mumbai.
It is a knon fact that mafiosi bosd Dawood's younger sister was also known as Haseena 'Aapa'.
Police claim that Hasina Aapa was involved in various criminal cases including land grabbing and extortion cases.
Hasina Aapa was a resident of Gordon Hall apartments at Nagpapda area of South Mumbai. She has been also termed as "the lady don of Nagpada".
In 2006, she lost her son in a very young age of 23-year, Danish Parkar in a road accident on Goa-Mumbai highway. The fatal accident killed Danish when he was returning from Goa along with his friends.
In 1991, Ismail Parkar, husband of Haseena Aapa was shot dead by rival mafia don Arun Gawli's gang. Dawood had took revenge of her sister's killers at the infamous JJ hospital shootout. In this revengeful killing Dawood killer squad killed 5 persons including contract killer Shailesh Haldhankar.
It is a known fact that Haseena was involved in Slums Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) projects in South Mumbai and Mumbra areas.
Police officials says that she was not directly involved in any underworld activities, but it is also widely believed that in some parts of south Mumbai and suburban areas her words were last, when she indulge in any case.
One can recall that in 2007, Haseena had been declared as absconding in the SRA scheme case. Mumbai police searched out to Thane, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Indore, Bhopal, Hyderabad cities but failed to trace her. Suddenly she appeared in the court and granted bail on the same day.
Hassena Aapa has a daughter whose whereabouts are not known to any one. Police officers also deny any info about her daughter.
Mumbai Police, Crime Branch, CID, CBI and I officials are keeping close watch in the area to make a list of visitors at Haseena Aapa funeral.
It is a known fact that Dawood was in touch with his sister but it is sure that he or his close family mambers can not come to India to attend her funeral.
This is also an interesting fact that some time back news spreaded im the crime world that Bollywood Director Apporva Lakhia planning a film based on Haseena's life.
Haseena Aapa was facing some cases of extortion and land grabbing. She was also facing a case of Income Tax department about financial transactions.
