ANC-Crime Branch, Mumbai, arrested Most Wanted Interstate Drug kingpin from Orisa In 1820 kg. Ganja case

• Total arrest now 5 Drug smugglers . 

• Total seizure - 1820 kg. Ganja cost of ₹ 3.85 Cr. seized from Vikrolli east area on 12.02.2021

• The drug peddlers procured the Ganja from Orissa State. 

✅Details of Operations :-

         On 12th Dec. 2021 Ghatkopar ANC got reliable information of interstate Drugs peddlers with Truck’s Movement, Ghatkopar ANC laid trap in vikroli east area and arrested two persons with possession of 1820 kg ( worth @ 4 Cr) Ganja wilth TATA Truck. 

. Registered Crime C.R.No.17/21 u/s 8 (C), 20 ( c) 29 NDPS Act 1985 against them. In investigation one more his associate was also arrested from Palghar area. Charge sheet was sent on 3 arrested accused  

 While investigation of said offence U/s 173(8) CrPC , intense searching was launched for kingpin in Orissa and Andhra Pradesh and found that both accused are hiding themselves in Hyderabad, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Visakhapatnam state. On reliable information team Comprising Api Londhe & 5 Police staff sent to Orissa and Nabbed Main gang leader & Interstate Drug peddler accused namely Laxmikant Pradhan & his Co associate Bidhadhar Pradhan from Golanthara, State-Orisa area on 09/12/23. With Transit remand both accused were brought to Mumbai. 

        Further, incriminating details were extracted along with identification of network. ANC Crime Branch’s In depth investigation to trace out other crucial Interstate members is underway.

ii) Digapahandi police station , Orissa:- cr no 154/2017 u/s 302,34 IPC 

iii) K Nuagaon police station, Ganjam Orissa 

 Cr no 436/23 u/s 452,323,307,506,34 IPC r/w section 25,27 arms act ( wanted in said case) 

iv) k Nuagaon police station, Ganjam Orissa 

Cr no 437/23 u/s 364,395 IPC r/w 25,27 Arms act 

2) Bidyadhar Brundaban Pradhan
